| Our first project was to rewire the house, and we used the opportunity to move the wires off of the front gable to the side of the house. We removed most of the existing landscaping in order to repaint the house. Most of the exterior was scraped down to bare wood using a heat gun. The colors follow the original scheme, except that we chose a darker brown for the body. The entire paint job took 3 years, but after it was all done and the landscaping was put back, our house was honored with a San Jose Home Improvement Award. |
